Panasonic announces new Lumix GF1
Panasonic announced that it will soon be releasing its latest addition to the Lumix G-Series, the Lumix DMC-GF1.
This latest model according to Panasonic is said to be the world’s smallest and lightest system digital camera with a built-in flash function. The Lumix GF1 is the perfect digital camera for photographers to carry around at all times with them due to its extremely lightweight body.
While the Lumix GF1 is quite small in size Panasonic has made no compromise and it offers many advanced features. Several of these features include its ability to record High Definition video (1280×720) in AVCHD Lite, a format that allows for longer recording times. There is also a large amount of high quality in the 12.1 megapixels offered and the recording of HD Motion JPEG (1280×720) as well as other formats such as VGA, QVGA and WVGA are also other advanced features of the Lumix GF1.
The Lumix DMC-GF1 will be priced around the $900 mark when it is released into stores in the next month and sure to prove popular with camera enthusiasts across the world as the Panasonic brand has done with its Lumix range in the past.
